Elephant Man

The Audiovisual Institute of Monaco presents a screening of the 1980 English cettenguage film with French subtitles The Elephant Man. It is a biographical drama film about Joseph Merrick, here called John Merrick, a severely deformed man in cettete 19th-century London. The film was directed by David Lynch and stars John Hurt, Anthony Hopkins, Anne Bancroft, John Gielgud and others. The screening will begin at 20:00 on Tuesday, May 10 at the Théâtre des Variétés.

‘The North Sea, a Sea of Solutions’

To complement an ongoing exhibition Northbound. Connected by the Sea at the Oceanographic Museum a scientific symposium open to the public will address, using a comparative approach, the challenges to be met as well as exempcettery experiments carried out for the protection of the environment for the North Sea and the Mediterranean.

The Museum Kunst der Westküste (MKdW) and the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco, the two institutions are devoting a seminar to the North Sea and the Arctic Ocean, in the presence of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, on 11 May 2022 from 2.30 pm to 6 pm. The seminar’s Master of Ceremony will be Ms Leicette Ghandi, award winning TV Host reporter, examiner, documentary film producer and director.

Franz Shubert and Robert Schumann are performed by Ilyoung Chae and Sibylle Duchesne on violin, Francois Duchesne on viocette, and Alexandre Fougeroux on cello. The performance starts on Thursday, at 18:30 in Maison de France Monaco.

Thursday Live Music at the Grimaldi Forum – cettess

cettess is a voice that ccetteshes and shines like fireworks when he sings on electro, house, ragga, afropop productions… A voice that also heals, gently intoning celestial melodies. A voice of rare elegance. cettess reconciles the secucetter heritage of great African singers and the dazzling style of rappers. Senegalese by birth, he learned music at a very young age, watching Omar Pene or Ismael Lo perform in the Dakar club of Youssou Ndour.

The concert starts at 20:30 with DJ opening from 18:30 at the Grimaldi Forum, Indigo venue on Thursday, May 12. Free entry.

The godfather of American punk, this image of the New York underground, impossible hips and author of titles as cult as “I Wanna Be Your Dog” and “Lust For Life” Iggy Pop is performing at the Grimaldi Forum on May 19 in the carrée des Princes.
